  6. asyrafniza on April 4th, 2008 4:29 pm

    i do think that sir fergie would rest some key players for next fixtures against roma in CL… just my 2cents!

  7. David Shaw on April 4th, 2008 8:55 pm

    @Jonathan:
    Carson is the best choice for keeper this week.

    @James:
    I believe that Nelson will play this week.

    @nocterna14:
    I would choose Arteta. - Manchester United can never be written off.

    @asyrafniza:
    I think it is almost certain that some players will be dropped but they also need to win this game, so it is wide open.

    will petrov get a start ?

  9. David Shaw on April 4th, 2008 11:03 pm

    @Randy
    He is fit and should start!

  10. Randy on April 4th, 2008 11:29 pm

    Do youy think viduka and anichebe is are worth a shot ?

  11. Randy on April 5th, 2008 12:39 am

    Mr. Shaw , how would you rate this team ?

    Forward
    Anichebe , Yakubu , Viduka

    Mid
    Ronaldo , J.Cole , Petrov , Pienaar

    Def
    Hutton , Kelly , Parnaby

    Keeper
    Carson

    Most of my players are above the original value by alot so i cant simply off load the players and i have analysed the remainig fixtures before my pick .. i thank you in advance for your helpful advises ..

  12. Randy on April 5th, 2008 12:55 am

    your news say pienaar is noy injured but YFF says he is a doubt .. which is true ?? @_@

  13. David Shaw on April 5th, 2008 6:59 am

    @Randy:
    Your team should do well, the only one I would consider dropping is Viduka, I would rather have Martins or Owen.

    Pienaar is a maybe, I would suggest that you do not pick him, as I dont think David Moyes will risk him.

  14. Randy on April 5th, 2008 7:20 am

    Thanks for the advise mr . shaw . i have followed your words and switch viduka to martins and pienaar to nevile

    good team this week. Others in my group have bought in Carson. So rather than just cancelling out thier points I’m going with kirkland,home to Bir, Wigan have a suprisingly good defensive record at home.

  16. steve on April 7th, 2008 7:51 am

    Taylor was an incredible call, shame I opted for Carvalho who didnt play!!

  17. David Shaw on April 7th, 2008 10:08 am

    Taylor was someone that I had a good feeling for this week, and it paid off!

  18. hannah on April 7th, 2008 4:33 pm

    should i choose carson or david james for gk?? james might be more expensiv later on so i wud hav to pay mor, whereas carson might be a one week pick. wat should i do..?

  19. fla on April 7th, 2008 6:50 pm

    Great call on Taylor.

  20. fla on April 7th, 2008 6:52 pm

    Re 18. Given their respective opposition,I’d say go with Carson for this week

  21. Randy on April 8th, 2008 12:48 am

    keep carson all the way to the end . Look at aston villa’s remaining fixtures . apart from everton , there are no real threat to aston villa

  22. Gee on April 10th, 2008 10:29 am

    I know you won’t do this week’s guide until tomorrow, however I need to get mine sorted before going away…..strikers…Defoe or Yakubu…Defoe on fire at mo…yakubu has two games granted the second is at Chelsea….

  23. David Shaw on April 10th, 2008 10:40 am

    Defoe!

  24. Gee on April 10th, 2008 12:04 pm

    ok all change….

    how’s this…
    Anelka
    Babel
    Long (reading)
    Ronaldo
    Lampard
    Neville
    Mikel
    Melberg
    Ingimarsson
    Mokoena
