Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea highlights: Blues ruin Shearer’s start as Toon manager

Alan Shearer’s first match in charge of Newcastle ended with a 2-0 loss to Chelsea to shove the north-east giants deeper into relegation trouble in the Premier League.
Second half goals from Frank Lampard and Florent Malouda earned title challengers Chelsea a three points which temporarily lifted them into 2nd place before Liverpool beat Fulham 1-0 in the late kickoff on Saturday.
