Upcoming Fantasy Premier League Disruptions
Published by Sunil Rathour on September 8, 2009
The draw for the recently renamed Europa League, has taken place and the fixtures confirmed. This disrupts a couple of games in the English Premiership, so a couple of Premiership League teams have no game week.
With a bit of advance planning, managers can make good use of these scenarios to gain some extra points. With a game ‘in lieu’, managers can add players who will make use of impending double game week matches afterwards.
In game week 17, which are from the 15th December, 2009, the fixtures between:
1) Hull versus Everton, and
2) Stoke versus Fulham, will now be postponed until a later date.
Both Everton and Fulham now have two fixtures to be rescheduled. They initially missed their matches in game week 2 – having had to play in the Europa League qualifiers then. So with two rescheduled matches yet to be played, it may be worth picking up more Fulham and Everton players, after the postponed matches.
Once news of any rescheduled fixtures becomes known, we will keep you up-to-date, when they will take place. This will give you plenty of time to take advantage of any of all the rescheduled games.
