Possible points bonanzas – Gameweek 7

Before finalising your team?s line-up, take into account that these 2 matches may finish very one-sided:

The Reds puncturing Hull

At home and against lesser opposition, Liverpool has already been able to put up the score line of 4-0 twice in this young season. In Gameweek 2, the Reds put Stoke to the sword. They followed this up with bombing Burnley in Gameweek 6. In one or both of those matches, there were a number of Liverpool players who performed superbly, including Jose Reina (7 points, 7 points), Glen Johnson (18, 9), Steven Gerrard (11, 7), Dirk Kuyt (11, 8 ) and Yossi Benayoun (4, 24).

With Hull City visiting Anfield this week, look for another sizable win for the Reds ? and a good bet for captain this is Johnson. Please note, however, that while Fernando Torres only managed 6 and 2 points respectively in Gameweeks 2 and 6, he is definitely in form and is another good option for the captain?s role.

Chelsea suffocating Wigan

Throughout their time in the premiership, the Latics have never beaten one of the Big Four. The two matches that they?ve played against Big Four opposition so far this season have resulted in 5-0 and 4-0 drubbings at the hands of Man U and Arsenal respectively. Chelsea have scored at least 2 goals in every game but not more than 3. However, with the type of football that they?re playing at the moment, they could well get at least 4 past Kirkland at the weekend.

Obviously Chelsea players are a staple of any fantasy team. However, the important question is who among them would be the best choice of captain. In general, entrusting a striker to be captain is very much a feast or famine business. However, Didier Drogba has had a minimum of an assist in every match this season. The fact that he?s getting more and more involved with free kicks is an added bonus. So give him the armband and let him help you finish September off with a bang.
